2 Minutes Late. =/

As mentioned in the previous post, i was supposed to start my first day working as a teacher's assistant in KIS today.

I made a vow more like RENEWING it to myself that i would try my very best to change or AT LEAST manage my time efficiently once i started working.

I was soooo dead wrong! Today i arrived work 2 minutes too late! owh well..but twas a tremendous achievement indeed! lol.

First day of work was as the usual - feelin' like a stranger. Well actually i am basically STILL a stranger in the eyes of the school, staffs and especially the kids.

However, i forced myself to de-stranger myself. Continously reminding myself to get involved more with the students. Thank God, the oh-so-hot&funny-but-married class teacher, Mr. Scott Lowther is a real big help!

As hours passed by, the kids and myself started to get warmer with each other. Soon, i began to realize i am already liking the job!

Hopefully the 'likeness' goes constant throughout the whole stipulated period as agreed.

Overall, i think having the utmost opportunity working in KIS is awesomely great, fun and interesting all rolled up into one!

It's such a great opportunity to work and meet many new people of different nationalities.

p.s: Cara dorang study pun sangat lah best! Like i said, fun & interesting, it makes me wanna go back to school! haha.

My First, KIS.

Had an interview with KIS's principal Mr. Stuart McClay earlier today to fill in a temporary (60 days) job as a teacher's assistant.

I should be nervous. Really nervous being interviewed by urang putih.

Amazingly, it was the other way round.

He was rather calm & friendly.

I've received a call frm Mr. McClay approx. 5 minutes ago.

I start on Fri. Wooottss!!

Hopefully i am good with kids & that the kids will love me! *crosses fingers*

6th June:
Since we were quite tired from yesterday's event, we went to bed quite early last night. Woke up feeling fresh the next day amidst sharing a king sized bed between Aunt Maria (Meg's mom), Megan, myself & Mike.

Both, Aunt Maria and myself got ready (took shower and change into a more appropriate attire for make-up and hairdo session) ahead of Megan so that we could assist her later on.

By the time we got ready, all three of us were starving. So, we ordered breakfast while waiting for the photographer, videoman, makeup artist & the hairdresser to arrive. Megan was so nervous she ended up having a second round meal much to her mom's suprise LOL!

Few hours passed and the three of us, including Lil' Jade the Little Bride were all dressed up and ready to go. Not long, we heard a knock on the door. The door opened and in came Aunt Maria's king and princes. Such a lovely sight! :)

Had about a half an hour picture taking inside the room before all of us paraded to the church. Megan looked stunningly beautiful!!!

Upon reaching the church, it was indeed another beautiful sight where there were many ladies dressed in blue and pink gowns while the men were in their barongs. Each one of us had our walk down the aisle. While everyone had their partner to walk down the aisle, i had none! *sighs* I thought my partner, Mr. Roy Lim (the groom's elder bro) was suppose to walk with me. But oh well~

After the church blessings, everyone yes, including the guests were invited to get back to Bohol Plaza the place where we were staying for the wedding reception. The theme was Blue & Pink. The cake was even coloured and decorated according to the theme! Weird but pretty!!

And so, all of us had our dinner by the pool. The event was emceed by the couple's wedding organizer and everything was just so delightful!

Last but not least, everyone had a wonderful time, and as usual the clan from Megan's side jugalaa yang paling last to leave. Hahaha. Murah eh tu bir dia. San Miguel 320ml cost just RM3. Punya banyak kami order hahahaha. All's good though.

There goes the highlight of our trip in Bohol.

Phils - Four.

Small Chat: Farewell Mr. Moon Walker. An icon. A legend. A weirdo whom i fancy quite a bit.
***************************************************

5th June:
I woke up quite late. Honestly, i was the only one still left on the bed/in the room while everyone was already up for breakfast.

The bros, Mc & Mike tried to pull me out of bed for breakfast but i just simply told them that i wanted to doze for a bit longer. Blame it on the booze session i had during the wee hours. LOL.

Once i woke up, got cleaned and changed, one of the bros came into the room and told me that they're going for a movie - Terminator, that is. Didn't want to spend another hour feeling suffocated in the room, i decided to tag myself along with them.

Went to the cinema at one of the malls. Sorry to say but, i find the cinema was quite uncomfortable. Its dustiness left me sneezing more than a few times (-___-)".

Oh, i had my share on Mike's popcorn. Twas cheese flavoured. Yummy but tooo salty. Masin gila. Berguguran rambut. haha.

Right after the movie, i glanced over my watch and noticed that it was already about 4pm. Calmly, i turned to the bros and asked them what time were we suppose to go to the church for Megan's rehearsal.

Mc turned to me and said, "We weren't asked to come. Don't really need rehearsal on our part."

*Mc paused which i believe lasted for three secs*

"Uii. You're suppose to be at the church tu kan Den??"

Nahh mataii. I told to myself.

Anyhoos, i decided to leave the clan (there were a bunch of us who went to the mall) and catch a cab to the church accompanied by one of the bros, though Mike insisted that we take the 'tuk-tuk'. Hahaha.

I came up to one of the security ladies and asked,

"Excuse me MA'AM. Wherrrrre is the cab station?...Downstairrrrs?..Okay. Thank you so much MA'AM."

Yes. Saya TER-impersonate the way the filipinos speak (emphasized on the 'R'). Both Mike and i laughed our arses off. LMFAO!

Got inside the cab and off to the St. Joseph Church in Tagbilaran City, Philippines for the rehearsal. We were there up until late evening. After that, the usual routine of mandi, makan, chill skejap and tidur.

There goes the fourth day in Bohol.

Phils - Three.

Preview: Partaying with old & new buddies were great! Yesterday's island chillin' with awesomeness friends was superb! Last night's Randy&Megan's reception was off the hoooookkkkk!!
******************************************

4th June: Daytime, all of us roamed around Bohol island. We went to some of Bohol's famous tourist destinations. Twas all pure fun-ness!

First, we were brought to one of Philippine's infamous monument of errmm....(damnit i forgot!) it has something to do with Philippine's history with the Spanish etc. Oh what the heck, read here instead.

(-__-)" man i suck in this. apology apology.

After that, we had a cruise at the Loboc River and had our lunch there. Buffet style okay *flips hair* LOL! The food was scrummppptious! actually makanan di Phils semua sedap2.

Next, we were brought to pay a "visit" to the Philippine Tarsier sanctuary. I tell you, those Tarsiers are soooo adorable! They can fit nicely inside your pocket too! haha.

Finally, we went to the infamous Chocolate Hill!! Woottss! I bet you guys would get orgasm just by the look of those boobs...i mean hills! LMFAO! The panoramic view is over the top! I was also told that the hills usually "turn" to brown colour during the end of the year. Thus getting its name "Chocolate Hills" and no, they don't sell any chocs whatsoever there. Now lap liur kamu tu. Another Filipino friend of mine also told me that the hills got their name because of their shapes which are very much similar to Hershey's Chocs. Cool kan? :)

Actually there were some other places that we were suppose to go but due to limited time frame we had to cut our trip short. Booo! But twas all good :)

Before heading back to the Plaza we manage to spent an hour to roam about the shopping mall. I was told that i need to get a pair of silver heels to match it with my gown. Megan's lil bro had been a great companion to go shopping with me and had even chosen the perfect heels for me. Not bad Mike!

Got back to the Plaza and everyone got ready to attend the couple's wedding shower at Randy's uncle's mansion betul besar oh macam dlm wayang Philippine tu!.

There were about 30-50 people presented. Had yummy like always! dinner. While everyone was enjoying their menu, the emcee which happened to be Randy's aunt announced something i wasn't really paying attention coz was busy makan haha on the microphone when suddenly i heard my name was mentioned and were asked to stand up. Puzzled and nervous, i did.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...*singing continues*
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SHARON..
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!" sambil kek diusung ke hadapan saya which has an L-sized two digit numbers on it.

Dumbfounded i tell you. And also malu. I swear i was blushing! Nasib baik saya gelap, orang nda perasan. LOL!

So yea saya tertumpang glamour sekejap. Suprised. Very much. Thanks to the newlyweds! *hugsssss*

Back to the plaza, chill for a bit with the couple, Gan's bros and uncle up til about 4am. Just talking and all. Twas all good.

There goes the third day in the Phils.

Phils - Two.

This is actually the third day of our stay in the Phils.

Since we got nothing to do, all of us planned to go elsewhere. We decided to take a supposedly an hour and a half passenger-boat ride to Cebu. We ended up getting there about 2hours instead.

(-____-)"

3rd June: We woke up in the morning, had our breakfast and went to the ticketing agency to make some return-flight amendments before headed to the jetty.

Took the 11:20am boat and reached Cebu at about 1:30pm. Got two cabs van-like cabs and headed straight to SM Mall. There, we had our lunch and roamed around the mall for a bit. Did nothing much though. Shopping malls selling stuffs with prices not much different from my place of origin doesn't really excite me.

Anyhoos, off to Bohol we took a SUPPOSEDLY 6pm boat ride. Again, we left Cebu at almost 7pm.

(-_____-)"

Reached Bohol plaza quite late already and everyone was pretty tired by then. All of us go mandi and all trus had our dinner.

An hour or two past midnight, everybody were already in lalaland.

There goes the second day in the Phils.

p.s: Jangan main2 boat dia oh. Ada labels such as 'Di larang merokok' and 'Pintu kecemasan'. LOL!

Phils - One.

Conclusion:
The overall trip experience was over the top! Though i was unable to shop and get some souvenirs back with me to be distributed to others i'm sorry! i still had an awesome one week getaway! I had fun travelling around Bohol Island, meeting new people, making new acquaintances, experience, laughters etc. Thank yous to the
Imbayan-Siambun family for the opportunity, hospitality & experience that i was given. They are happy people. I love and God Bless!
---------------------------------------------------------

The first day we arrived from KK to Manila twas already late in the evening. Roamed around the airport for a bit then off we went to grab something to eat. Called Arthur, the cab driver to fetch us at the NAIA (Terminal 3) Airport and drop us at Chow King is a local food chain in the Philippines.

Chow King sadap! Unfortunately the food portion is consider small though.

After dinner cum supper, went back to the airport and everyone tried to get some sleep. EVERYONE slept on the hard cold airport floor tryin' to get a few hours of rest before the next flight from Manila - Bohol at around 8am the next day.

When everyone was asleep, i kept awake to keep my eyes on the baggages nicely topped onto each other on the trolleys. I kept myself awake with Mike's ipod, on repeat.

6am: Checked-in for Bohol. Reached Bohol about an hour plus. Greeted by Randy's he is Megan's husband aunt and cousins and off we head to the plaza where we stayed for a good week.

Checked-into the plaza (Bohol Plaza). Everyone was so exhausted that we konked as soon as our arses landed the bunk.

Fast forward few hours later, woke up, cleansed ourselves and then out we went for dinner which by then was already kinda late.

There goes the first day in Bohol.
